If the first impression of my painting brings you joy and beauty in any way, then I know I have done my job as an artist.
Tara Jalalian was surrounded by beauty environments and art from an early age. She found her love of painting when her elementary school art teacher became amazed at her first original impressionistic painting. Over the years she developed an appreciation and respect for the fine art of painting. She started studying and working with many master painters learning about creating paintings in Pastel, Acrylics, Oil, and Watercolor.
In 2001, she discovered the School of Light and Color in Fair Oaks California and under Susan Sarback, which she studied for three years, she learned about painting in the style of Impressionistic painters. Susan Sarback has studied with Henry Hensche, and American Impressionist painter in the lineage of Charles Hawthorne, William Merrit Chase, and Claude Monet.
